2017 TMSA Sales & Marketing Metrics Study: Results & Practitioner Perspectives
TMSA will be releasing its third annual Sales & Marketing Metrics Study. The study results are derived from a survey of sales and marketing leaders in the industry. Survey participants included truckload and LTL carriers, 3PLs, freight forwarders and brokers, dedicated carriers, and ocean carriers. The insightful presentation will:

  • Provide insights on how firms in our industry compare to frequently used sales and marketing metrics
  • Highlight best practices in the industry's marketing and sales organizations, budgets, etc.
  • Allow you to benchmark your company's marketing and sales initiatives against other transportation and logistics companies.
  • Marketing and sales executives will speak to key findings in the 2017 TMSA Sales & Marketing Metrics Study as they relate to strategies and experiences with their own companies.

Brian EverettAbout the Facilitator: Brian Everett, ABC, is Chief Executive Officer for TMSA and Senior Partner of MindShare Strategies. Everett has more than 25 years marketing, communications, and sales experience in transportation, warehousing, and logistics, with a special expertise in business strategy, B-to-B marketing, and association management. He got his start in the industry back in 1988 as the first lead marketing executive for C.H. Robinson Worldwide. As Director of Marketing there for 10 years, he helped to transform this low-profile company to one of the most widely known brands in the third-party logistics market. Today Everett is the CEO of TMSA, and also is Senior Partner of MindShare Strategies, where he regularly provides marketing counsel to the firm’s key accounts. He is particularly well-connected to shippers as the former Executive Director of the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council (NASSTRAC), a trade association that provides education, advocacy, and provider relations to shippers, 3PLs, and carriers.
