In today's ever-changing marketing and communications world, advertising, public relations and internal communications all help form a robust marketing strategy. Mark Derks, Director of Global Marketing at C.H. Robinson, will discuss the convergence of content, structure and careers and how CHR has responded to internal and external forces and moved to more integrated communications operations. In addition, Derks will discuss the future and ideas on how to be successful when creating an integrated communication strategy and how professionals can reimagine their career to be successful across platforms.

Mark Derks is Director of Global Marketing at C.H. Robinson, where he leads marketing strategy, brand management, and external communications for this worldwide organization. Since joining the organization, he has helped to globalize marketing by delivering brand strategy, bringing in content marketing, creating a marketing and sales response team to measure marketing ROI, and engaging channels such as social media and blogs. In addition to overseeing strategy, execution, and operations globally, he leads, directs and supports a team of marketing professionals from North and South America to Asia and Europe. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from the University of Minnesota.
