Minneapolis, Feb. 13, 2019– The Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA) announces the primary line-up of presenters for its upcoming 2019 Logistics Marketing & Sales Conference. The three-day conference takes place June 9-12 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort near Jacksonville, Fla. It will feature more than 30 educational sessions on how to leverage marketing, communications and sales to strengthen the customer experience. 

“This event is designed to help sales, marketing, communications, and business leaders and their companies in transportation and logistics to be more effective, productive and profitable in their initiatives,” said Brian Everett, CEO of TMSA. This year’s theme is focused on the Customer Experience (CX) and how to engage and retain customers who provide maximum profitability. His opening session will focus on how CX optimizes marketing, sales and business results. His closing session will explore best practices and emerging trends in CX. John Maketa, chief revenue officer for Caliper, will discuss how dramatically changing demographics are impacting transportation, logistics and supply chain markets. Dave Gardner, former supply chain and manufacturing executive for Ingredion, a Fortune 500 company, will share how he implemented a CX strategy and improved productivity and decreased costs.
